Amélimón is a visual art and illustration studio based in Barcelona, founded by Amélie Decomble, a freelance visual artist and illustrator.
Originally from Avignon, France, Amélie studied between Lyon and Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, specializing in visual communication and digital creation. During her studies, she developed a passion for hand-drawn animation and gradually self-taught frame-by-frame 2D animation, creating a vibrant, handcrafted style that stands out for its authenticity.
After working as a graphic designer in agencies in Paris and Barcelona, Amélie decided to focus entirely on creative illustration, video mapping, and custom visual projects. She creates unique works for festivals, musicians, event agencies, and private clients across Catalonia, the Costa Brava, Spain, and internationally.
Her work combines illustration, 2D animation, and video mapping to deliver immersive, tailor-made visual experiences, where movement, color, and light come together to create engaging and emotionally resonant visuals.

Amélie’s approach is deeply rooted in a hands-on and experimental way of creating visual work. She is a very tactile artist who enjoys working across different mediums, from drawing and painting to cutting, assembling, and refining each piece manually before it becomes a final artwork.
Whether she is creating illustrations, printed works, or frame-by-frame 2D animations for video mapping, she pays close attention to every detail of the process. Each project is carefully crafted in her studio, where she ensures a high level of quality before it is released or projected in public space.
She believes that the physical act of making is essential to the final result. This attention to texture, rhythm, and imperfection brings a human and emotional quality to her work, whether it appears on paper, on screen, or as large-scale immersive video mapping installations.
This multidisciplinary approach allows her to move freely between illustration, animation, and spatial design, while maintaining a consistent artistic identity and a strong handcrafted signature.
